Gazi Journal of Engineering Sciences accepts original scientific articles written in English to contribute to scientific communication in the field of engineering.
Article Types
Research Article: Original studies presenting new findings, analyses, and results.
Review Article: Comprehensive evaluations that summarize, interpret, and compare the current state of knowledge in a specific field.
Technical Note: Short communications describing significant methodological or technical developments.
Copyright Transfer
The Copyright Transfer Form must be submitted for each manuscript.
The signature of the corresponding author is sufficient on behalf of all authors.
Manuscripts will not be processed without the signed form, and no changes to the author list may be made after the article is accepted for publication.
Peer Review
All submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process and reviewed by at least two independent experts.
FIRST PRESENTATION FORMAT
All submitted manuscripts are screened for similarity by the journal before editorial evaluation. The similarity index must be below 15%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit are rejected without entering the peer review process. Authors are not required to upload a similarity report, as the journal performs this check.
In the first submission, authors must upload their manuscript without including their names and affiliations to ensure a double-blind peer review. At this stage, the manuscript does not need to follow the final journal layout; however, the following basic structure and content requirements are mandatory:
Title: Clear, concise, and written in title case.
Abstract: Written in English, 150–200 words.
Keywords: 3–5 keywords, in English.
Main Sections: Introduction, Method/Materials, Results, Discussion, Conclusion.
References: Must be present, but IEEE formatting may be completed at the final stage.
A clear, readable structure is sufficient at this stage; precise formatting, font style, spacing, and page layout are not required until the manuscript is accepted.
FINAL PRESENTATION FORMAT
If the article is accepted, authors must revise and upload the manuscript according to the journal’s Final Presentation Format, which includes:

ABSTRACT: It should be written in English, with a minimum of 150 and a maximum of 200.
KEYWORDS: Minimum 3 maximum 5 pieces should be given in English.
TEXT: In general, it covers parts related to introduction, method, findings, discussions and conclusion.
