Opinions of Fourth Grade Students of Music Education at the Education Faculty about Music Education in Primary Schools (Gaziosmanpaşa University Sample)
Abstract
The purpose of this study is identified that music teacher candidates are gained assess the experience in the "School Experience" course.School Experience course is important what is aimed to develop a positive opinion in terms of the degree of student behavior . So teaching profession is important to show that it is effective. Fourth grade students at Gaziosmanpaşa University of Education Department of Music Education Department are taken the " School Experience " course that are changed in perspective to the teaching profession and are conducted student. This research based on student observations and opinions. Researcher is collect data with "views on the music education in primary schools form" is used.According to the results of the study that teacher candidates mentioned that they had problems transferring the knowledge they gained at school to the classes at the schools where they did their internships. They stated that instead of acting in accordance with the curriculum, they often only had the students listen to music and play the recorder.
