In parallel with this aim, three managers of an organization serving in the food industry in Ankara were interviewed and the obtained data was described. Pre-formatted interview form was used as the data collection tool of the study. The data showed that managers followed the steps in the literature in their personnel selection process. It was also observed that the expectations of a general manager from the personnel differentiate from the expectations of a human resources manager. Based on the results of the study, it is advised to subject all managers included in personnel selection process to in-service training about the requirements, stages, and methods of this process.
