Sahne ve Performans Sanatlarında Giyilebilir Teknolojiler

Abstract

Wearable Technologies in Stage and Performing Arts

Year 2021, Issue: 10 , 23 - 34 , 05.06.2021
https://izlik.org/JA52JT43GS

Abstract

After the industrial revolutions, advances in science and technology have found a place in the art world as well as in the stage and performance arts. Wearable technology clothing, accessories and devices modeled in the science fiction literature and cinema of the 20th century are transforming into applications that seem endless in the real world and create new expressions in the conceptual works of artists and increase their expression functions. In this context, wearable technology costumes in stage and performance arts will be evaluated through examples in this study. Wearable technology garments opens up new areas for researchers and performers as a means of narrative in the context of stage, music, dance and performance.
