COVID-19 PANDEMİSİNDE EV TABANLI FİZİKSEL AKTİVİTE

Abstract

Yeni koronavirüs hastalığının (COVID-19), küresel olarak fiziksel aktivite davranışları üzerinde büyük bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmektedir. COVID-19 salgını, dünyadaki birçok insanı bir süre evde kalmaya, kendini izole etmeye ve karantinaya almaya zorladı. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü, 6-17 yaş arası çocuk ve adolesanlar için günlük 60 dakika süre ile orta-yüksek şiddetli fiziksel aktivite ile birlikte haftanın 3 günü kas kuvvetlendirme egzersizlerini, yetişkinler ve yaşlılar için haftada 75 dakika süre ile yüksek şiddetli fiziksel aktivite veya haftalık 150 dakika süre ile orta şiddetli fiziksel aktivite ile birlikte haftanın 2 günü kas kuvvetlendirme egzersizlerini önermektedir. Evde aktif kalmak için bisiklet veya kol ergometresi ile aerobik egzersiz eğitimi, vücut ağırlığı ile egzersiz eğitimi, dans ve aktif video oyunları gibi pratik öneriler, COVID-19 pandemisine yönelik koruyucu yaşam tarzı düzenlemelerinin zararlı fiziksel ve mental yan etkilerine karşı koymaya yardımcı olabilir. Bu derleme, çocuklar ve adolesanlar da dâhil olmak üzere, yaşam boyu sedanter olan bireyler için, COVID-19 pandemisi veya diğer bulaşıcı salgınlar sırasında gerçekleştirilebilecek ev tabanlı fiziksel aktiviteler hakkında yararlı bilgiler sağlamaktadır.
