COVID-19’UN ÇOCUKLARIN SAĞLIĞI ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Öz

COVID-19 pandemisi devam ederken, artan sayıda ülke ve bölge, insandan insana bulaşmayı önlemeyi ve böylece virüs yayılımını sınırlamayı amaçlayan fiziksel ("sosyal") mesafeye dayalı kısıtlayıcı önlemler almaktadır. Evde kalma yönetmeliklerine göre ülke çapında kapanmaların, COVID-19 salgınının durdurulmasında etkili olduğu kanıtlanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, çocuklar için aile yanında uzun süreli kalma, sağlıklarını tehlikeye atabilecek ve bazı potansiyel yan etkilerle sonuçlanabilecektir. Fiziksel hareketsizlik, vücut ağırlığı artışı, davranışsal bağımlılık bozuklukları, yetersiz güneş ışığına maruz kalma, ruhsal bozukluklar, şiddet ve sosyal izolasyon bu sonuçlardan bazılarıdır. Yan etkilerin hafifletilmesi için bazı geçici öneriler sunmayı amaçlayan bu makale olası fiziksel, psiko-sosyal ve ruhsal riskler ile bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri ele alınacaktır.
