Abstract
Kültür, bir milletin bütününü oluşturur. Türk kültürü söz konusu olduğunda buna bir hudut belirlemek oldukça zordur. Zira bin yıllar boyunca farklı coğrafyaları yurt tutarak, birçok millet ve kültür ile temas etmiş olan bir milletin kültürü söz konusudur. Türk kültürünü oluşturan temel unsur ise bozkır olmuştur. Türk milleti bozkır coğrafyası etrafında şekillenmiş ve kendisini bu coğrafyaya göre karakterize etmiştir.
İncelemiş olduğumuz “Türk Kültürüne Giriş” isimli kitap, Prof. Dr. İlhami Durmuş’a aittir. Kitabın içeriğinin on beş bölümden oluştuğu görülmektedir. Eser, coğrafya, kültür, sosyal yapı, askeri, hukuki, iktisadi, dini, örf ve adet, gelenek, yazı ve daha birçok başlık altında ayrıntılı bir biçimde incelenerek ele alınmış ve bilim dünyasına kazandırılmıştır.

Abstract
Culture forms the whole of a nation. When it comes to Turkish culture, it is very difficult to define a border. Because there is a culture of a nation that has been in contact with many nations and cultures by holding different geographies as a homeland for thousands of years. The main element that formed the Turkish culture was the steppe. The Turkish nation was shaped around the steppe geography and characterized itself according to this geography.
The book named "Introduction to Turkish Culture", which we have examined, belongs to Prof. Dr. İlhami Durmuş. It is seen that the content of the book consists of fifteen chapters. The work has been studied in detail under many titles such as geography, culture, social structure, military, legal, economic, religious, custom, tradition and writing, and has been brought to the world of science.
