The basic aim of this paper is to present a novel efficient matrix approach for solving the Dirichlet problem. The method converts the Dirichlet problem to a matrix equation, which
corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equations. Error analysis is included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the technique.
