DANGER EVALUATIONS OF THE TURKISH COAL MINE ACCIDENTS BY MEANS OF "THE TECHNIQUES OF DEVIATION FROM WEIGHTED MEANS"

Abstract

With advancing technology, safety precautions are increased, management types that protect environment and prevent work accidents with systematic precautions are developed and encouraged by laws. Methods that prevent accidents, if possible, eliminate them or minimize their effects have been developed. Finally, accident estimation techniques with various evaluations have been developed by taking into account the factors that may lead to accidents. In this study, for the coal mine establishments of the Turkish Mine Association, the danger evaluations of the accidents underground and on the ground that occured in last three years, were made by using "Weighted Average Techniques". At the same time, for coming years the type of precautions that will reduce the accidents are proposed for different types of coal mines.
