Cam Elyaf Katkılı Poli(oksimetilen) Kompozitinin Laboratuar Ortamında ve Suda Yaşlandırılması Sonucunda Mekanik, Reolojik ve Morfolojik Özelliklerindeki Değişimler

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, cam elyaf katkılı poli(oksimetilen)
(POM) kompozitinin yaşlandırma sonrası mekanik, reolojik ve morfolojik
özelliklerindeki değişimler incelenmiştir. Numuneler plastik enjeksiyon
kalıplama yöntemi ile hazırlanmıştır. Yaşlandırma işlemi numuneler 28 gün
boyunca laboratuar sıcaklığında ve suda bekletilerek yapılmıştır. Mekanik
özellikleri belirlemek için çekme ve 3 nokta eğme testleri yapılmıştır,
reolojik özeliği belirlemek için eriyik akış indeksi (MFI) ölçülmüştür ve
morfolojik yapıyı gözlemlemek için taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) kullanılmıştır.
Deneysel sonuçlardan mekanik, reolojik ve morfolojik özelliklerin yaşlandırma
ortamından etkilendiği görülmüştür. Yaşlandırılmış numunelerin mekanik
özelliklerinin yaşlandırılmamış numuneye göre daha düşük olduğu bulunmuştur.
Mekanik özelliklerdeki düşüş en fazla suda yaşlandırılan numunelerde meydana
gelmiştir. Yaşlandırma işlemi MFI değerini arttırmıştır.
