Akımsız Ni-B Kaplanmış Demir Esaslı Toz Metal Kompaktların Sertlik ve Yapısal Özelliklerine Isıl İşlemin Etkisi

Abstract

Demir esaslı toz metal (TM) kompaktlar üzerine akımsız kaplama yöntemi ile kaplanan Ni-B alaşımının morfolojisi, yapısı ve mikro sertliği incelendi. Kaplanmış numunelerin bir kısmına
farklı sıcaklıklarda (300, 400 ve 500 °C) 1 saat süre ile izotermal ısıl işlem uygulandı. Kaplamaların fazları ve morfolojisi x-ışını kırınım analizi (XRD) ve taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) ile incelendi. Faz dönüşüm davranışı ve sıcaklıkları diferansiyel taramalı kalorimetre (DSC) analizi ile belirlendi. Ni-B kaplamalar ve TM kompaktların mikrosertlikleri Qness Q10 micro vickers test cihazı kullanılarak ölçüldü. Sonuçlar, Ni-B kaplamanın kaplanmış halde amorfsu bir yapıya sahip olduğunu, fakat ısıl işlem sonucu kristal yapıya dönüştüğünü gösterdi. Nikel matriste nikel borürlerin (Ni
2B, Ni3B) çökeldiği ve bu çökeltilerin sertlik artışına neden olduğu tespit edildi. Maksimum sertlik 400 °C’de ısıl işlem uygulanmış Ni-B kaplamada elde edildi.
