Abstract
A large part of our knowledge about of Ancient Mesopotamia is composed of religious issues. In this context, Mesopotamian Myths and epic tales enable us to have an idea about this area. Precisely at this point we examine the work is provided as a reference work for those who want to do research on Mesopotamian Myths. It has also benefited from the current transcription while interpretation of the epics. The text is supplemented by Akkadian documents
Abstract
Eski Mezopotamya hakkındaki bilgilerimizin büyük bir bölümü dinî konulardan oluşmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Mezopotamya Mitleri ve destansı hikâyeleri bu bölge hakkında fikir sahibi olmamızı sağlamaktadır. Tam da bu noktada incelediğimiz eser Mezopotamya Mitleri hakkında araştırma yapmak isteyenler için bir başvuru eseri niteliğindedir. Ayrıca destanların yorumlamaları yapılırken güncel transkripsiyonlardan yararlanılmıştır. Bu metinler incelenirken Akkadca belgeler ile desteklenmiştir.
