Motivasyonel Görüşme ve Hemşirelikte Kullanımı

Abstract

Motivasyonel görüşme, özellikle değişim
için isteksiz ya da kararsız olan danışanların sorunlarını ortaya çıkarma ve üstesinden
gelmelerine yardım ederek davranış değişimi sağlamak amacıyla kullanılmaktadır.
Motivasyonel görüşme eğitimi alan hemşire, doktor ya da psikolog tarafından
fiziksel ya da ruhsal hastalığı olan bireylere uygulanabilen danışan merkezli
bir görüşme biçimidir. Motivasyonel görüşme, değişim ve tedaviye uyum amacıyla
ambivalansı çözerek danışanın içsel motivasyonunu ortaya çıkarmasına odaklanır.
Bu çalışmada amaç motivasyonel görüşmenin genel özelliklerini, kullanım
alanlarını ve etkilerini incelemektir. Yapılan çalışmalar motivasyonel
görüşmenin özellikle kronik hastalıklarda, hastalığa ve tedaviye uyum sağlanmasında,
davranış değişikliği oluşturmada, tedavi/bakımın optimal düzeyde sağlanmasında
ve rehabilitasyonda etkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Motivasyonel görüşme
tekniğinin koruyucu, tedavi ve rehabilite edici sağlık hizmetlerinde etkili
olduğu göz önüne alındığında; sağlıklı davranış değişikliği yaratma ve
sürekliliğini sağlamada önemli rolleri olan hemşireler, motivasyonel görüşmeyi
birçok alanda rahatlıkla kullanabilirler.
