Öz

Holoprosencepahly is a congenital anomaly characterized by severe developmental defects of forebrain and midface. Holoprosencepahly is mostly lethal. Although midface anomalies are typcial characteristics, vaires anomalies are recognized in other organs and systems. Varies factors for etiology of holoprosencepahly are accused, but especially trisomy 13 is the most characteristic chromosomal anomaly. In here, we present medical autopsy findings of the death fetus with hydrocepahly and midface anomaly determined by obsteric ultrasonography in the fifth month of pregnancy

Öz

Holoprozensefali ağır bir doğumsal ön beyin ve yüz orta hat gelişimsel anomalisidir. Büyük çoğunlukla yaşamla bağdaşmaz. Yüz orta hat anomalileri tipik olmakla beraber diğer organ ve sistemlerde de çok çeşitli anomaliler tanımlanmıştır. Etiyolojisinde çok çeşitli faktörler suçlanmakta olup özellikle trizomi 13 en karakteristik kromozomal anomalidir. Burada, gebeliğin 5. ayında obstetrik ultrasonografide saptanan hidrosefali ve yüz orta hat anomalisine sahip ölü fetüsün tıbbi otopsi bulgularını takdim ediyoruz.
