Usage of mating disruption technique against Lobesia botrana (Denis & Schiffermüller) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) in vineyards of Adıyaman

Abstract

In this study, the mating disruption method was applied in the control against the European grapevine moth Lobesia botrana (Denis and Schiffermüller) in 2016-2017. Mating disruption (MD) vineyard in two different areas in Adıyaman province, Isonet-L ((E,Z)-7.9 dodecadienyl acetate 172 mg-dispensers-1) dispensers were used and carried out in 4 vineyard areas, 2 of which traditional applications (TA) were made. In the MD vineyard, the average rates of infestation in 50 clusters in the first and second MD areas in 2016 were found as 0, 4 and 3% for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations respectively. In the first and second TA vineyards, the average rates of infestation in 50 clusters were found as 0, 10, and 5% for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations respectively. In the MD vineyard, the average rates of infestation in 50 clusters in the first and second trial areas in 2017 were found as 2, 4, and 4% for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations respectively. In the first and second TA vines, the average rates of infestation in 50 clusters were found as 4, 10, and 7% for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generations respectively. In 2016 and 2017, no insecticide application was made in the MD vineyards. In TA vineyards, the farmer applied insecticide twice to the first TA area and once to the second TA area. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the mating disruption technique can be used successfully in the control against L. botrana.

Adıyaman ili bağ alanlarında Lobesia botrana (Denis & Schiffermüller) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)’ya karşı çiftleşmeyi engelleme tekniğinin kullanılması

Abstract

Bu çalışma 2016-2017 yıllarında Salkım güvesi Lobesia botrana (Denis and Schiffermüller)’ya karşı mücadelede çiftleşmeyi engelleme yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Adıyaman ili farklı 2 bağ alanında çiftleşmeyi engelleme (ÇE) bağı İsonet-L ((E,Z)-7,9 dodecadienyl acetate 172 mg-yayıcı-1) yayıcıları kullanılmış ve geleneksel uygulamaların (GU) yapıldığı 2 bağ alanı olmak üzere 4 bağ alanında yürütülmüştür. ÇE bağında 2016 yılında birinci ve ikinci deneme alanlarında 50 salkımdaki vuruk sayıları ortalama 1. dölde %0, 2. dölde %4 ve 3. dölde %3 olmuştur. Birinci ve ikinci GU bağında ise 50 salkımdaki vuruk sayıları ortalama 1. dölde %0, 2. dölde %10 ve 3. dölde %5 olmuştur. ÇE bağında 2017 yılında birinci ve ikinci deneme alanlarında 50 salkımdaki vuruk sayıları ortalama 1. dölde %2, 2. dölde %4 ve 3. dölde %4 olmuştur. Birinci ve ikinci GU bağlarında 50 salkımdaki vuruk sayıları ortalama 1. dölde %4, 2. dölde %10 ve 3. dölde %7 olmuştur. 2016 ve 2017 yıllarında ÇE bağlarında insektisit uygulaması yapılmamıştır. GU bağlarında çiftçi birinci deneme alanına 2 kez insektisit, ikinci deneme alanına ise 1 kez insektisit uygulaması yapmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda çiftleşmeyi engelleme tekniğinin L. botrana’ya karşı mücadelede başarılı bir şekilde kullanılabileceği kanısına varılmıştır.
