The Impact of Climate Change on Gender in Terms of Public Health

Year 2019, Volume: 2 Issue: 3, 33 - 36, 31.12.2019

Abstract

Climate change has implications for increasing
frequency and intensity of heatwaves, increased flooding and drought , and
changes in the distribution of vector-borne diseases. Human health is affected
due to the fact that these fundamental effects of climate change vary by
gender. This review discusses what results expected heat increases in climate
change can produce in humans in terms of the "sex ratio" involved in
biodiversity components.

Year 2019, Volume: 2 Issue: 3, 33 - 36, 31.12.2019
