Kronik Böbrek Yetmezliği Hastalarında Hemodiyaliz Uygulaması Sırasında Besin Alım Miktarının Kan Basıncına Etkisi/ The Effect of Food Intake on Blood Pressure During Hemodialysis in Patients with Chronic Renal Failure

Abstract
Amaç: İntradiyalitik hipotansiyon, hastaların hemodiyaliz sırasında yaşadığı, sık görülen ve yaşamı tehdit eden durumlardan biridir. Sık karşılaşılan intradiyalitik hipotansif ataklar kalp ve beyin gibi hayati organlarda hasara yol açarak kardiyak bozukluklara ve mortaliteye neden olabilir.
Hastalar ve Yöntem: Bu çalışma, hemodiyaliz sırasında gıda alım hacminin kan basıncına etkisini belirlemek için karşılaştırmalı /tanımlayıcı bir tasarımla yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya 62 hasta dahil edildi ve gıda alım miktarlarına göre sınıflandırılan üç hasta grubundan birine atandı. Kan basıncı sonuçları 369 seans boyunca izlendi.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan tüm bireylerin hemodiyaliz sırasında yiyecek tükettikleri ve kan basıncı sonuçlarında düşüş olduğu gözlemlendi. Alınan besin miktarının kan basıncı değerini etkilemediği görülmekle birlikte hemodiyaliz sırasında besin alım süresinin kan basıncı sonuçlarını etkilediği belirlendi.
Sonuç: Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre, hastaların hemodiyaliz tedavisinin ilk saatlerinde yemek yememeleri ve ileri saatlerde hemodiyaliz sırasında alınan besin miktarını azaltmaları, hemodiyaliz tedavisi sırasında İntradiyalitik hipotansiyon riskini azaltmak için önerilmiştir.

Abstract
Aim: Intradialytic hypotension is one of the most common and life-threatening conditions experienced by patients during hemodialysis. Frequent intradialytic hypotensive episodes can damage vital organs such as the heart and brain, leading to cardiac disorders and mortality. This study aimed to investigate the effect of nutrient intake on preventing intradialytic hypotension.
Materials and Methods: This quasi-experimental study was conducted to determine the effect of nutrient intake volume on blood pressure during hemodialysis. The study included 62 patients who were assigned to one of three groups based on nutrient intake amounts. Blood pressure results were monitored over 369 sessions.
Results: All participants in the study consumed food during hemodialysis and showed a decrease in blood pressure. While the amount of food intake did not affect blood pressure values, the timing of food intake during hemodialysis was found to influence blood pressure outcomes.
Conclusion: According to the study results, to reduce the risk of intradialytic hypotension during hemodialysis, it is recommended that patients avoid consuming food during the first hour of treatment and limit the amount of food intake in the subsequent hours.
