Abstract

Aim: This descriptive cross-sectional study analyzes patients’ perceptions of the benefits and constraints of reduced salt intake and the factors that affect their perceptions. Materials and Method: The research sample includes 103 hemodialysis patients from two centers who are over 18 years of age, literate, speak and understand Turkish and agreed to participate in the study. Their demographic characteristics, a 20- question survey form that investigates patients’ salt intake and disease and Beliefs about Compliance to Diet Scale were used for data collection. Descriptive statistical analyses were used for data analysis. Hemodiyaliz Hastalarının Tuzdan Kısıtlı Diyete Uyumlarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Kesitsel tanımlayıcı bu çalışma; hemodiyaliz hastalarının tuz tüketimi ile ilgili yarar ve engel algılarını ve etkileyen faktörleri incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Çalışmanın örneklemini iki merkezde hemodiyaliz uygulan hastalar arasından 18 yaş ve üzeri, okuma yazma bilen, Türkçe konuşan ve anlayan, çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 103 hemodiyaliz hastası oluşturdu. Verilerin toplanmasında demografik özellikler, tuz tüketimi ve hastalık ilgili özellikleri sorgulayan 20 soruluk anket formu ve Diyete Uyum Hakkındaki İnançlar Ölçeği kullanıldı.
