Obezite ve Böbrek Hastalıkları

Abstract

Obezite, tüm dünyada ve ülkemizde sıklığı epidemi şeklinde artan, tedavisi güç,

sistemler üzerine etkileri olan, kronik, metabolik bir hastalıktır. Obezite artmış

yağ dokunun neden olduğu birden fazla mekanizma ve beraberinde gelişen

Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Hipertansiyon (HT) ve metabolik sendromun yol açtığı

etkilerle böbrek hasarına neden olmaktadır. Bu hastalıkların gelişimine engel olan

stratejiler ile böbrek hastalıklarının oluşma riski azaltılabilir. Bu stratejiler;

sağlıklı beslenme, fiziksel egzersiz, sağlıklı sıvı alımı ve yeterli uykunun

sağlanmasıdır. Obezite riskine yönelik planlanan eğitimler ve farkındalığın

artması, uygun beslenme ve egzersizi içeren sağlıklı yaşam davranışları obezitenin

neden olduğu böbrek hastalıklarının önlenmesinde oldukça etkilidir. Obezite ile

mücadelede sadece bireysel önlemler değil yönetimsel önlemlerin de alınması

oldukça önem taşımaktadır.
