Ev Hemodiyalizinin YaygınlaĢmasının Önündeki Engeller Nelerdir?

Öz

Ev hemodiyalizi, hastaların kendi evlerinde hemodiyalize girmelerine olanak sağlayan bir tedavi yöntemidir. Ev hemodi-yalizinin hastanın bağımsızlığını ve yaşam kalitesini artırdığı, mortaliteyi azalttığı, elektrolit, fosfor ve β-2 mikroglobülin kli-rensini olumlu etkilediği, daha iyi kan basıncı ve volüm kontrolü sağladığı, sol ventrikül hipertrofisini azalttığı, beslenme duru-munu iyileştirdiği ve maliyet-etkin bir uygulama olduğu bildirilmektedir. Ev hemodiyalizi avantajlarına rağmen dünyada ve ül-kemizde yeterince yaygın değildir. Hasta, bakım veren ve sağlık personellerinin algı ve tutumları, eğitim durumu, mekanik ve teknolojik karmaşıklık, temiz su temini, maliyet ve hasta güvenliği gibi faktörler ev hemodiyalizinin yaygınlaşmasını etkilemektedir. Bu derlemede ev hemodiyalizinin yaygın kullanımındaki engellerin yanı sıra uygulamayı destekleyecek öneriler ele alınmaktadır.
