Doç. Dr. Öznur Özdarıcı, Kırşehir’de doğdu. İlk, orta ve lise öğrenimini Kırşehir’de tamamladı. 1997 yılında Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü’nü kazandı. 2001 yılında bu bölümden birincilikle mezun oldu. Aynı yıl Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü, Yeni Türk Edebiyatı Bilim Dalı’nda Araştırma Görevlisi olarak göreve; Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Ana Bilim Dalı, Yeni Türk Edebiyatı Bilim Dalında da Yüksek Lisans eğitimine başladı. “Emin Bülent Serdaroğlu’nun Hayatı, Sanatı ve Eserleri Üzerine Bir İnceleme” adlı Yüksek Lisans tezini 2003 yılında tamamladı. Aynı yıl söz konusu bölümde doktora eğitimine başladı. Doktora tezini “Türk Romanında Kadın (1872-1900)” konulu çalışma üzerine yaptı. 2013 yılında YÖK ve Yunus Emre Enstitüsü'nün işbirliği ile Bosna-Hersek Mostar Cemal Biyediç Üniversitesi Türkoloji Bölümüne misafir öğretim üyesi olarak görevlendirildi. 2013-2015 ve 2016-2017 yılları arasında söz konusu üniversitede görev yaptı. Hâlen Kırıkkale Üniversitesi, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görevine devam etmektedir.

Between 2008 and 2011, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of History, Faculty of Letters, Muğla University. From 2011 to 2017, he served in the same capacity at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History. Since 2018, he has been working at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History. His research focuses on General Turkish History, Caucasian History, and Russian History.
