Abstract

The sects are the structures formed as a result of the
institutionalization of the intellectual and religious manifestations of the
period they are in. They cannot be identified with religion. Hence, it is not
possible to properly understand and understand the views and behaviors of the
sects without recognizing the historical, political, social and economic
conditions that give birth to them. The sects dealing with groups in Islamic
Thought The biggest deficiencies of historical sources are also gathered at
this point. However, the way to eliminate or minimize these shortcomings is to
date, history, biography, literature and so on. apply to his work. In this
context, the general provisions on the views of the sects are given, especially
in the history books of the sects, and it is often not possible to determine
who belongs in the author's mind. In this case, these provisions do not
contribute much to the analysis of the formation process of the sects. For this
reason, it is a healthier way to go to the evaluations about the person or sects
discussed and to reveal the formation and development processes of the ideas.
On the other hand, since exaggerated praise and satirical narrations can be
conveyed by the adherents and opponents of the sects and opinions, it is
necessary to consider these narratives within the framework of reasonable
search and idea-related contact in the securities by taking into consideration
the tendencies of their lords.

Abstract

Mezhepler, içinde bulundukları dönemin fikrî ve dinî tezahürlerinin kurumsallaşması sonucu oluşmuş yapılar olup, din ile özdeşleştirilemezler. Dolayısı ile
onları doğuran tarihî, siyasî, toplumsal ve iktisadî şartları tanımadan mezheplerin görüşlerini ve davranışlarını sıhhatli bir şekilde temellendirebilmek ve
anlayabilmek pek mümkün değildir. İslam Düşüncesinde grupları ele alan
Mezhepler Tarihi kaynaklarının en büyük eksiklikleri de bu noktada toplanmaktadır. Ancak yine de bu eksiklikleri gidermenin veya en aza indirmenin
yolu, başta incelenen mezhebin kendi eserleri olmak üzere teşekkül ettiği döneme en yakın Mezhepler Tarihi, tarih, biyografi, edebiyat vb. eserlerine başvurmaktan geçer. Bu bağlamda özellikle Mezhepler Tarihi kitaplarında mezheplerin görüşleri ile ilgili olarak genel hükümler verilir ve bu hükümlerin yazarın zihninde kime ait olduğunu tespit edebilmek çoğu zaman mümkün değildir. Bu durumda da söz konusu hükümlerin mezheplerin teşekkül sürecini
incelerken fazla katkısı olmamaktadır. Bunun için söz konusu eserlerdeki bu
genel hükümlerden daha çok bizzat incelenen mezhebe mensup kişilere atfedilen görüşlerden hareketle, ele alınan kişi veya mezhepler hakkında değerlendirmelere gitmek, fikirlerin teşekkül ve gelişim süreçlerini ortaya koymak daha
sağlıklı bir yoldur. Diğer yandan mezhep önde gelenleri ve görüşleriyle ilgili
olarak taraftarları ve muhalifleri tarafından mübalağalı övgü ve yergi rivayetleri aktarılabildiğinden, râvîlerinin eğilimlerini de göz önünde bulundurarak
menkulde makulü arama ve fikir-hadise irtibatı çerçevesinde bu rivayetleri ele
almak gerekir.
