Abstract

Hicri dördüncü Asırda “İhvan-ı Safa”1 adıyla gizli bir cemiyet teşkil edilmişti.
Bu cemiyet, ilim ve felsefeyi yaymak, ahlaki terbiyeyi yükseltmek amacıyla
yazarlarının ismini gizleyerek elli bir adet risale yayımladı. O tarihlerde felsefi
konulara dair muhtelif eserlerin çoğu, zamanın [felsefeye] ilgisizliği ve takdirsizliği yüzünden çürüyüp mahvolduğu halde, şükürler olsun ki, bu risaleler bu
güne kadar ulaşmakla çok iyi bir şansa sahip olmuşlardır
