Abstract
In the article, the author b. He states that Abraham is opposed to the fatalistic tendencies of the Kûfe Zaydi school and that this position prepares the ground for the Zoolian imams, Mutezili teaching. R. Wilferd Madelung compares the ideas of Kasım with the views of contemporary Christian theologians and points to the similarity between them. Abstract
Yazar makalede, Kâsım b. İbrahim’in, Kûfe Zeydî ekolünün kaderci eğilimlerinin karşısında yer aldığını ve bu konumunun, daha sonraki Zeydî imamlar için Mu’tezilî öğretiye zemin hazırladığını ifade eder. Batılı bilim adamları arasında Kâsım’ın öğretisini ilk defa inceleyen R. Strothmann’ın, bu konumu nedeniyle onu, Mu’tezilî düşüncenin bir temsilcisi olarak tanımladığını ve Strothmann’ın bu görüşünün, Kâsım’ın eserlerinin bazılarını yayımlayan veya onun öğretisinin bazı yönlerine değinen diğer bilim adamları tarafından genel olarak kabul edildiğine işaret ederek, bunun hatalı bir tez olduğunu belirtir. Sonra Kâsım b. İbrâhim’in fikirlerini, çağdaşı Hıristiyan teologların görüşleriyle karşılaştırıp, aralarındaki benzerliğe işaret ederek, her ne kadar bazı noktalarda Mu’tezile’den esinlense de onun, Mu’tezile Kelamı’ndan ziyade Hıristiyan Teolojisi’nden etkilendiği tezini temellendirmeye çalışır.
