Year 2025, Volume: 22 Issue: 55, 58 - 75, 30.06.2025

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to provide a general awareness about cyberbullying and to address the important role of self-compassion in coping with cyberbullying. Methodologically, the study was conducted as a systematic review. Systematic review is an evaluation study conducted by addressing a specific issue in a conceptual framework and theoretical context. Therefore, in this study, firstly, the concept of cyberbullying was discussed and the studies put forward to prevent cyberbullying were mentioned. Then, the concepts of cyberbullying and self-compassion were discussed together and the studies in the literature were included. In addition, existing practices for developing self-compassion are presented. Finally, a general evaluation was made in terms of self-compassion as a preventive factor against cyberbullying and some suggestions were made in this context. As a result of the evaluation, it was understood that cyberbullying has become a global problem and some solutions have been sought to reduce and prevent this problem. Self-compassion was found to be an effective factor in terms of preventing cyberbullying. As a result, it was suggested that self-compassion training should be given to individuals in the process of reducing and preventing cyberbullying.

ÖZ-MERHAMET YOLUYLA SİBER ZORBALIĞI ÖNLEME ÜZERİNE

Year 2025, Volume: 22 Issue: 55, 58 - 75, 30.06.2025

Abstract

Ethical Statement

Merhaba, "Öz-Merhamet Yoluyla Siber Zorbalığı Önleme Üzerine" başlıklı çalışmam derleme niteliği taşıdığı için etik kurul başvurusuna gerek olmadığını beyan ederim. İyi çalışmalar dilerim. Saygılarımla. Dr. Eşref NAS
