Cerebrovascular diseases are among the second leading causes of death in the world, after cardiovascular diseases, and are frequently the subject of prehospital emergency health services. Delays in diagnosis, treatment and transportation in pre-hospital emergency health services can lead to high mortality and morbidity outcomes. Cerebrovascular diseases are mostly ischemic and less hemorrhagic. Early recognition of cerebrovascular diseases and the right intervention equipment of pre-hospital emergency health care providers is extremely important for patients. The aim of this review is to review the current information about the prehospital diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases in the light of the literature.
