Starting from 89/90s, the framework of literature, its subject matters and functions have been renewed. It has also been possible to talk about a new literary period, which is Modern German Literature, as a result of political, cultural and social reforms since the 90s. One of the most important representatives of this period is Daniel Kehlmann. This author differs from the representatives of the Modern German Literature in terms of his viewpoint about literature and the subject matters he handles. The presence of satire and reality, which are intertwined in his works, is one of the properties that makes him different from the others. His novel titled Me and Kaminski, which we handle in our study, addresses media ethics and personal morality in a satirical way. This novel attracts the attention to the inner conscience, or the humane aspect still found in the inner world of an individual who has centralized himself and has become desensitized towards his surroundings in 21st century. In this study, the novel Me and Kaminski has been handled within the framework of moral metamorphosis.
