Termal Uydu Görüntülerinin Jeotermal Kaynak Araştırmasında Kullanılabilirliğinin Araştırılması: Afyonkarahisar Örneği

Year 2018, Volume: 3 Issue: 3, 1 - 7, 31.12.2018

Abstract

Jeotermal

Abstract

Geothermal fields are areas where water in porous and
porous rocks heats up to form a reservoir. In general, the temperature change
in the earth’s crust is 25-30 ° C depending on the depth. However, the
geothermal reservoir areas are generally in active volcanic and tectonic areas,
where the temperature change can be up to 150° C. Many of these geothermal
fields have been discovered as volcanic and tectonic activities and have been
found on the surface of the earth. However, some geothermal areas do not have a
distinct surface appearance. Depending on the depth, the water temperature can
bring some anomalies into the water at the surface temperature. In this
context, the discovery of geothermal fields and remote sensing (earth
observation satellites) are very important opportunities. Especially the
thermal bands of satellites such as Landsat and Aster can provide serious
information. In this study, thermal anomaly research was carried out in Afyon
Kocatepe University Ahmet Necdet sezer campus area, by using Landsat satellite
thermal bands. In this context, anomaly sites were investigated by generating
surface temperature and compared with existing active geothermal wells.
