Değerler, İnançlar ve Problem Algısının Biyolojik Çeşitliliği Korumaya Yönelik Kişisel Normlara Etkisi

Year 2009, Volume: 37 Issue: 37, 50 - 59, 01.06.2009

Abstract

Bu araştırmada biyolojik çeşitliliği korumaya yönelik kişisel normlara değerlerin, inançların ve problem algısınınetkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmada Değer-İnanç-Norm Kuramı temel alınmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Türkiye’dekiorta öğretim kurumlarında öğrenim gören öğrenciler (N=499) oluşturmuştur. Regresyon analizleri sonucunda değerleriçerisinde sadece biyosferik-özgecil bir değer yönelimi olan evrenselciliğin kişisel normlara etki ettiği görülmüştür. İnançlariçerisinde ise biyolojik çeşitliliğin korunmasında yüklenilen sorumluluk ve yetenek algısı biyolojik çeşitliliği korumayayönelik kişisel normlar üzerinde anlamlı açıklayıcı değişken olarak bulunmuştur. Problem algısı kapsamında, sosyoekonomik ve ekolojik problem algısı ile problem reddi kişisel normları etkilemiştir. Bu çalışma biyolojik çeşitliliğe ve bunukorumaya yönelik farklı bakış açıları kazandırma amaçlı, disiplinler arası biyolojik çeşitlilik eğitiminin öneminivurgulamaktadır
