Günübirlik Cerrahi Süreci ve Hemşirelik Bakımı

Abstract

Günübirlik cerrahi, ameliyat öncesinde günübirlik cerrahi için uygunluğu belirlenen hastaların, planlı olarak ameliyata alınmasını ve ameliyat oldukları gün içerisinde taburcu olabilmelerini sağlayan girişimler olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Günübirlik cerrahinin gelişmesinde, yeni cerrahi teknikler ve girişim yöntemlerinde, anestezi ve analjezi tekniklerinde, asepside ve antibiyotik kullanımındaki gelişmeler etkili olmuştur. Ameliyat öncesi değerlendirme, ameliyat, taburculuk ve ameliyat sonrası izlem günübirlik cerrahi sürecinin aşamalarını oluşturmaktadır. Günübirlik cerrahinin başarısı etkin bir ekip çalışmasına bağlıdır. Bu ekibin en önemli üyesi olan günübirlik cerrahi hemşiresinin, günübirlik cerrahi sürecinin her aşamasında hasta ve ailesinin bilgilendirilmesi, hastanın ünitede ameliyat sonrası dönemde bakımı, evde izlemi ve diğer ekip üyeleriyle işbirliği konusunda önemli rolleri bulunmaktadır.

Day Surgery Process and Nursing Care

Abstract

Day surgery is defined as interventions that serve planned operation and discharging on the same day of the patients who are determined as appropriate for day surgery before operation. New surgical techniques and improvement of interventions methods, anesthesia and analgesia techniques, asepsis and using antibiotics affected development of day surgery. Preoperative evaluation, operation, discharge and postoperative observation constitute phases of day surgery process. The success of day surgery depends on effective team working. Day surgery nurse who is the most important member has an important role about giving information to patient and family, patient care in day surgery unit in postoperative phase, observation of patient at home and cooperation with other team members in every phases of day surgery.
