ENHANCING MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES THROUGH ORGANIZATIONAL CREATIVITY

Year 2001, Volume: 19 Issue: 1, 81 - 104, 01.07.2001

Abstract

To obtain competitive
advantage in a fast-paced, emerging economy, companies realize that, the key to
success will be the generation and use of “creative knowledge”. Thus, in this
paper, we examine the importance of organizational creativity, which is
increasingly becoming a core competency for many companies. We then develop a
framework that summarizes the transformation process as required by those
organizations which desire to be more creative and innovative
