This
paper examines the credibility of two cases of policy announcements: namely being the
monetary programming 1990, and the stabilization programming 1994 in Turkey
by usin error correction methodology, along with Chow stability
tests. The paper concludes that two economic policy announcements are not
characterized as credible by public.
