Abstract
Kars’ Kasar Cheese Industry Cluster as a Sample of Clustering The purpose of the research is to reveal the competitiveness level of clustering of Kasar cheese industry which has the most potential regarding brand in Kars. The method of research is qualitative and data collection technique is depth interview. Interview is made with 60 stakeholder such as supplier, producer, seller, customer, public and univesity officer who deal with Kasar producing and the input, demand, supporting industries, competitive conditions and government support in Porter’s Diamond Model are investigated. As findings, the cluster have problems regarding the input conditions, such as suppling milk and other elements, the demand conditions, such as branding, promotion, exportation, the supporting industries conditions such as Kasar Union and Kafkas university, the competitive conditions such as defining competitive strategies for business and the government support such as control. In conclusion, this area have a clustering potential and it is adviced the projects need to launch for improving the cluster
