Genç Bireylerde Kor Kasları Kuvvetinin ve Enduransının Fonksiyonel Parametrelerle İlişkisinin İncelenmesi

Year 2020, , 296 - 309, 31.12.2020
https://doi.org/10.21020/husbfd.618320

Abstract

Ayrıca kor kaslarının kuvvet değerlendirmesi modifiye push-up testi, sit-up testlerini; endurans değerlendirmesi lateral köprü testi, Sorenson testi ve gövde fleksörleri endurans testlerini içermektedir.

Investigation of The Relationship Between Strength and Endurance of The Trunk Muscle With Functional Parameters in Young Individuals

Year 2020, , 296 - 309, 31.12.2020
https://doi.org/10.21020/husbfd.618320

Abstract

Objectives: Low strength and endurance of the muscles in the core region cause excessive physiological stress on the passive structures of the spine, which can cause pain and decrease functional performance throughout the other structures of the body. The hypothesis of this study was to investigate the relationship between strength and endurance of core muscles and functional parameters in young individuals.
Materials and Methods: 123 healthy young individuals with mean age of 21.04±1.691 years were included in the study to investigate the relationship between muscle strength and endurance of the trunk region and functional parameters. in this study, demographic information, core muscles strength and endurance evaluations, functional parameters evaluating performance were recorded. Core muscles endurance evaluations included lateral bridge, Sorenson, trunk flexor endurance tests; core muscles strength assessment modified push-up, sit-up tests; the evaluation of lower extremity functionality vertical jump, bilateral squat, step down, forward jump tests on one leg.
Results: As a result of the statistical analysis, it was determined that the modified push-up test, which is one of the core force tests, was positively significantly associated with the performance tests (r = 0.188-0.50p <0.05), while the sit-up test from the core force tests did not correlate with the performance tests (p>0.05). As a result of statistical analysis, it was found that core endurance tests were positively correlate with vertical jump test, squat test and step down test(p<0.05).
Conclusion: A result of our study, a weakly significant relationship was found between the strength, endurance of the core muscles and functional parameters viewing performance. We think that strength and endurance exercises of core muscles should be taken into consideration increasing functional parameters.
