Epidural Yöntemle Yapılan Ağrısız Normal Doğum Mean Platelet Volum Düzeyini Etkiler Mi?

Abstract

Amaç: Respiratuar distres sendromu, kronik obsturiktif akciğer hastalığının akut alevlenmesi, akut pankreatit ve sepsis gibi birçok hastalığın MPV ile ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. MPV'nin diğer inflamatuar markerlarına göre daha ucuz ek maliyet getirmeyen bir inflamatuar marker olduğu gösterilmiştir. Epidural yolla yapılan ağrısız normal doğum esnasında oluşan MPV değişikliklerini araştırmayı amaçladık.Materyal Metod: Hastanemizde spontan vajinal doğum yapan ve epidural yolla ağrısız doğum yapan hastalar retrospektif olarak incelendi. Hastaların yaş, ağırlık, ,boy, gebelik haftaları, doğumun birinci, ikinci, üçüncü evrelerinin süreleri, bebelerin doğum ağırlıkları, hastaların doğum için hastaneye ilk başvurularındaki MPV değerleri ile postpartum 24. saatteki MPV değerleri kaydedildi.Bulgular: Demografik veriler açısından her iki grubta da anlamlı bir fark yoktu. Her iki grupta da MPV değerleri bazal değerlere kıyasla 24. saatte yükselmişti fakat iki grup arasında istatistiksel olarak fark yoktu.Sonuç: MPV doğuma bağlı inflamatuar yanıtı araştırmada bir marker olarak kullanılabilir

Does Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery with Epidural Analgesia Effect The Mean Platelet Values ?

Abstract

Backgrounds: Relationship between MPV and many diseases such as; respiratory distress syndrome, acute exacerbations of chronic obstuctive lung disease , acute pancreatitis and sepsis was investigated. And it has been shown that MPV is cheaper than the other inflammatory markers and does not bring additional cost. We aimed to study the changes of MPVvalues during vaginal delivery with epidural anesthesia. Methods: Patients who had spontaneous vaginal deliveries with/ without epidural anesthesia in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Patients' age, weight, height, gestational week, duration of first-second-third th stages of labor, weight of babies, MPV values that when they admitted to hospital and 24 hours at postpartum. Results: There was no difference in terms of demographic datas between the groups. MPV values increased th in both groups when compared with baseline values at 24 hour but this was not statistically significant. Conclusion: MPVcan be used as a marker for researching labor-related inflammatory response
