Prilokain sonrası methemoglobinemi: Bir olgu sunumu Türkçe

Abstract

Methemoglobinemi konjenital veya edinsel olarak görülebilmektedir. Edinsel methemoglobinemi birçok maddeye maruziyet sonrası oluşabilmektedir. Bu ajanlardan birisi olan prilokain klinik pratikte sık kullanılan bir lokal anesteziktir. Bu olgu sunumunda prilokain ile lokal anestezi uygulaması sonrası ortaya çıkan methemoglobinemide tanı ve tedavi yaklaşımlarının tartışılması amaçlandı

Methemoglobinemia after prilocaine: A case report

Abstract

Methemoglobinemia occurs in two forms; congenital or acquired. Acquired methemoglobinemia may be occurs due to several agents, one of this agent is prilocaine which is widely used as a local anesthetic in clinical practice. In this case report, we aimed to discuss the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to methemoglobinemia due to prilocaine injection
