Backgrund: Identifying the Anti-HIV, Anti-HCV, HBsAg and Anti-HBsAg rates patients operated
on at department of a general surgery and pointing out to the present risks.
Material and Method: The files of 1146 patients operated on at our clinic in the period between
September, 2011-September, 2014 were retrospectively examined. The HBSAg, Anti-HBsAg, Anti-HCV
and Anti-HIV results of the patients in the preoperative period were recorded.
Results: Among 1146 patients included in the study, 373 (32.5%) were emergency patients and
773 (67.5%) were patients that underwent elective operations. Among 373 patients receiving emergency
surgery, 168 were women and 205 were men. Among 773 patients receiving elective surgery, 337 were
women and 436 were men. HBsAg was studied in 997 out of all patients and it was positive in 28 (2.8%)
patients. Anti-HBsAg was checked in 980 patients and it was identified to be above the level adequate for
immunity in 342 (34.9%) of those patients. Anti-HIV was studied in 725 patients and the result was positive
in only one patient. This result was confirmed with a confirmation test. As for 991 patients for whom AntiHCV
was studied, 7 (0.7%) of them were identified as positive. Conclusion: As a result of the study that we carried out, it has been concluded that the Hepatitis
B, Hepatitis C and HIV rates we identified among our patients are below the values announced for Turkey
and its respective region. Hepatitis B antibody positivity, on the other hand, seems close to the country
average with a rate of 34%.
Amaç: Bu çalışma, bir Genel Cerrahi kliniğinde ameliyat edilen hastalarda Anti-HIV, Anti-HCV,
HBsAg ve Anti-HBsAg pozitif oranlarını tespit edip mevcut risklere dikkat çekmek ve alınacak önlemleri
vurgulamak amacıyla planlandı.
Materyal ve Metod: Eylül 2011-Eylül 2014 döneminde kliniğimizde ameliyat edilen 1146 hastanın
dosyaları geriye dönük incelendi. Hastalarda ameliyat öncesi dönemde HBSAg, Anti-HBsAg, Anti-HCV ve
Anti-HIV sonuçları kaydedildi. Olgular yaş, cinsiyet, ameliyat tipi (acil-elektif) olarak değerlendirildi.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan 1146 hastanın 373(%32,5)’ü acil ve 773(%67,5)’ü elektif operasyona
alınan hastalardı. Acil cerrahi uygulanan 373 hastadan 168’i kadın, 205’i erkekti. 773 elektif cerrahi
