Abstract
Diseksiyon sırasında 56 yaşındaki erkek kadavranın sağ ayağında tek taraflı olmak üzere çift tendonlu m.ekstensor hallucis longus’a rastlandı.

Abstract
During the dissection of 56 years old male cadaver we encountered that the extensor hallucis longus EHL had two tendons unilaterally in the right foot. EHL’s tendon split into a lateral and medial tendon at the ankle level, the medial tendon was thicker and inserted to the medial side of the lateral tendon at the dorsal aspect of the base of the proximal phalanx of the hallux. The lateral tendon of the EHL was united with the extensor hallucis brevis tendon. To know the variations of the muscles and tendons of the leg and foot are important with regard to understanding the function of the lower limb and correlating these abnormalities with the clinical aspects. The tendons of extensor hallucis longus can be used for repairing the deformites of great toe like the hallux varus
