Abstract
Aim:To determine whether methyprednisolone and physical therapy are superior to placebo and physical therapy for improving pain and range of motion in adhesive capsulitis. Methods: Thirtytwo patients 16 active, 16 placebo completed the 24 weeks protocol. Entry criteria were age >18 years, pain and stiffness in predominantly one shoulder for 0.05 . Conclusions: There is more significant benefit to the methyprednisolone group than plasebo for improvement of pain and movement at 4th week from initial of therapy. But at the end of therapy results were similar
