2001-2020 Yılları Arasında Su Egzersizi ile Hidroterapi Konulu Yayınlanmış Makalelerin Karşılaştırılması

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 32 - 41, 01.07.2021

Abstract

Comparison of Published Articles on Water Exercise and Hydrotherapy Between 2001-2020

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 32 - 41, 01.07.2021

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the distribution of publications on water exercise and hydrotherapy by years. It is aimed to analyze the scientific research published on these subjects according to the year of publication, the department of science and the countries to which it is affiliated. Articles on water exercise or hydrotherapy were selected from PubMed, Science Direct and Google Scholar between 2001-2020 for data. Articles were divided into 4 groups to determine the distribution according to publication years and subject. It was checked by country whether the authors in the articles were sports science people or not. It was found that there is a significant difference between water exercise and hydrotherapy groups and between the articles reviewed according to the years of publication (p<0,05). Sports scientists took part in 25.34% of the articles about water exercise. In result of the study, it was found that water exercise research is more common than hydrotherapy. The number of articles has increased in the last 6 years. Sports scientists have worked independently or jointly with medical scientists in the fields of water exercise and hydrotherapy. USA and Brazil have the most articles on water exercise and hydrotherapy.
