SAĞLIK TEKNOLOJİLERİ VE METAVERSE: POTANSİYEL UYGULAMA ALANLARI VE MEVCUT ENGELLER

Abstract

Sağlık hizmetleri insan gücü kadar teknolojinin de yoğun olarak kullanıldığı bir alandır ve bu anlamda teknolojik gelişmelerden yüksek derecede etkilenmektedir. Geçmişten günümüze kadar geçen sürede sağlık teknolojilerinde önemli gelişmeler yaşanmıştır. Bugün gelinen noktada ise metaverse adı verilen yeni bir sanal evrenin sağlayacağı olanakların sağlık hizmetleri alanına nasıl etki edeceği ile ilgili tartışmalar sürmektedir. Bu çerçevede, bu çalışmada metaverse teknolojilerinin gelecekte sağlık alanında ne gibi değişimler oluşturabileceğine dair tahminlerde bulunmak, metaverse teknolojisinin sağlık hizmetlerinde kullanımının önündeki engel ve zorlukları tartışmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle sağlık teknolojisi ve e-sağlık konularıyla ilgili bilgilere yer verilmiş, ardından metaverse ve ilişkili kavramlar açıklanmıştır. Ardından, metaverse teknolojilerinin sağlık alanındaki geleceğine ilişkin tahminlere yer verilmiştir. Son olarak metaverse teknolojilerinin sağlık alanında kullanılmasının önündeki engeller ve zorluklar açıklanmıştır. Sonuç olarak metaverse teknolojisinin; sağlık alanında köklü değişimler yaratma potansiyeli barındıran, ancak aynı zamanda günümüz teknolojik koşulları ve teknik olanaklar çerçevesinde, uygulanmasının önünde engeller olan bir teknoloji olduğu ifade edilebilir.
