The annually published Istanbul Anthropological Review (Ist Anth Rev) aims at reaching out to researchers from various fields of humanities and social sciences, primarily from anthropology with its all subfields, and at bringing them together with a multidisciplinary audience. 

IAR seeks to publish methodologically innovative interdisciplinary research, conceptual papers, and book reviews, besides case studies using well-established research methods.
