Endüstri 4.0'ın Lojistik Boyutu: Lojistik 4.0

Abstract

Bilişim teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler işletmeler açısından büyük bir dönüşümü tetiklemektedir. Özellikle içinde bulunduğumuz Covid-19 pandemi süreci, işletmeleri teknolojik uygulamalara hızlıca geçiş yapmaları ve kısa sürede adapte olmaları konusunda zorlamaktadır. Bu dönemde e-ticaretin artışı ile birlikte lojistik faaliyetlerindeki hız, esneklik, kalite ve maliyet kavramları da en plana çıkmaktadır. Böylesine rekabet ortamında işletmeler teknoloji ve teknoloji ile birlikte gelen değişimleri iş süreçlerine uygulayarak rakiplerine göre farklılık yaratarak avantaj elde edebilirler. Dijitalleşme ile birlikte Endüstri 4.0’ın doğuşu birçok sektörü kökünden değişikliğe uğratacağı gibi lojistik sistemlerini de etkilediği ve daha da etkileyeceği aşikardır. Bu çalışma, kavramsal çerçeve niteliğinde olup, Endüstri 4.0’ın tarihsel gelişiminden, Lojistik 4.0’a olan etkilerine kadar değinmektedir. Makale, lojistiğin gelişiminde etkiye sahip olan teknolojilerin tanıtımı ve farklı sektörlerdeki örnekleri eşliğinde, yapılacak diğer çalışmalar için bilgilendirici niteliktedir.

Logistics Dimension of Industry 4.0: Logistics 4.0

Abstract

Information technology developments trigger a major transformation for businesses. In particular, the Covid-19 pandemic process we are in forces businesses to transition to technological applications quickly and adapt in a short time. In this period, the concepts of speed, flexibility, quality and cost in logistics activities also come to the fore along with the increase in e-commerce. Businesses can gain advantage in such a competitive environment by making a difference compared to their competitors and by applying the technology and the changes that come with it to their business processes. It is obvious that the emergence of Industry 4.0 with digitalization will radically change many sectors and it has also affected and will further affect the logistics systems. This study is a conceptual framework and addresses the historical development of Industry 4.0 and its effects on Logistics 4.0. It includes the introduction of technologies that have an impact on the development of logistics and examples from different sectors and is an informative study for other studies to be conducted.
