Annelerin İyi ki ve Keşkeleri: Bebeklik Dönemine İlişkin Sorunlar ve Çözüm Önerileri

Abstract

Bu araştırma, annelerin bebeklik dönemine ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması yaklaşımıyla ele alınan araştırmada, çalışma grubunu 51 anne oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Veriler, içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarında annelerin ebeveynliğe ilişkin; beslenme, çevre desteğinin olmaması, annelik stresi, uyku düzeninin bozulması, çocuk davranışlarından rahatsız olma, bilgi ve beceri eksikliği konularında zorluk yaşadıkları belirlenmiştir. Annelerin bebeklerin gelişimsel problemlerine yönelik olarak ise; bebeklerde biyolojik ritmin oluşmaması, fizyolojik sorunlar ve davranış problemleri konularında sorun yaşadıkları görülmüştür. Anneler, karşılaştıkları sorunları uzman desteğinden yararlanıp, sosyal destek aracılığıyla olumlu tutum ve davranışlar geliştirerek aşabilmişlerdir. Anneleri en çok annelik doyumunu yaşadığı durumların oluşumu, bebeğe gelişimsel destek sağlama ve sorunlara yönelik önlem alma durumları mutlu etmiştir. Annelerin pişmanlığı ise; bebeğe zaman ayıramama, bebek gelişimi hakkında bilgi sahibi olmama, sağlık sorunlarına uygun çözümler bulamama, yanlış tutum sergileme, olumsuz koşulları düzeltememe ve doğum zamanlaması konularında olmuştur. Sonuçlar, bebeklik döneminin daha çok zorluklar barındırdığını bu zorlukların içinde mutluluk verici olayların da olduğu şeklinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bebeklik döneminin daha sağlıklı ve mutlu geçmesi için en önemli faktörün anneye yönelik sosyal desteğin arttırılarak yükünün hafifletilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu bağlamda bebeklik dönemi süresince annelere sosyal desteğin sağlanması önerilmektedir.

Mothers Good Things And What Ifs: Problems And Solutions For Babyhood

Abstract

This qualitative study aimed to explore mothers' views on the infant period. The research group consisted of 51 mothers, and data were collected through semi-structured interviews. Findings revealed that mothers faced various parenting challenges, including infant nutrition, lack of environmental support, maternal stress, sleep disruptions, behavioral difficulties, and limited knowledge and skills. Mothers also reported developmental concerns such as irregular biological rhythms, physiological issues, and behavioral problems in their infants. To cope with these challenges, many mothers sought professional help and relied on social support systems, which enabled them to develop positive coping strategies. Sources of satisfaction included experiencing maternal fulfillment, supporting their babies' development, and effectively addressing emerging problems. However, mothers also expressed regrets, such as not spending enough time with their babies, lacking information on infant development, being unable to handle health issues effectively, and showing inappropriate behaviors or attitudes. The timing of childbirth and the inability to change negative conditions were also sources of concern. The study concluded that although infancy is a challenging period, it also brings meaningful and joyful experiences. Enhancing social support for mothers was identified as a key factor in promoting a healthier and more positive infant-rearing experience. Increased support is strongly recommended during this critical period.
