İçtimaiyat

İçtimaiyat (ISSN: 3149-8655, E-ISSN: 2602-3377) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that has been publishing original, high-quality, and scientifically significant research in the fields of History, Sociology, Political Science, and International Relations since 2017. The journal aims to contribute to the scientific examination of social, political, and historical processes and to establish an effective knowledge-sharing platform between national and international academic literature. The journal is published by Esengül Kara (independent).

İçtimaiyat publishes original research articles, review studies, and book reviews exclusively in the fields of History, Sociology, Political Science, and International Relations, in both Turkish and English. Within these four disciplines, the journal encourages interdisciplinary and comparative studies and prioritizes research that addresses current social issues through theoretical and empirical approaches.

Committed to international standards in scholarly publishing, İçtimaiyat adheres to the principles of research and publication ethics, editorial independence, transparency, and academic integrity. All submissions are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process conducted by expert reviewers in the field and screened for similarity using iThenticate and intihal.net.

Published under a full open-access model with a CC BY-NC license, İçtimaiyat supports the global visibility and accessibility of scientific knowledge; a DOI is assigned to every published article. The journal is indexed in TR Dizin, DOAJ, EBSCO (CEEAS), and ERIH PLUS. The journal aims to contribute to the development of international academic dialogue and knowledge production in the social sciences by bringing together researchers, academics, and scientists from different countries.

İçtimaiyat is published quarterly (March, June, September, December) and adopts the continuous improvement of scientific quality, international visibility, and academic impact as its core publication policy.
