İçtimaiyat is an international, peer-reviewed academic journal indexed by ULAKBİM TR Dizin. The Journal of İçtimaiyat welcomes original research in the fields of History, Sociology, and Political Science / International Relations.
The journal operates on a double-blind peer review basis and is published electronically twice a year, in May and November, via DergiPark. Although not mandatory, the journal reserves the right to publish a special issue in September, the theme of which is announced six months in advance.
Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be prepared in accordance with the APA 6th edition citation and bibliography guidelines, as well as the journal’s submission template and style requirements.
To be considered for a particular issue, articles must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the publication date.
The journal aims to publish up to 15 articles in Turkish and 15 articles in English in each issue, contingent upon the receipt of a sufficient number of high-quality submissions in both languages.
