My topic is about the strategic challenges among great and regional powers in the early formation period of the European Union. The complex games theoryapplied to my research. I tried to reveal that, the principal European states (Germany, Britain and France) and the great powers of these days (the U.S.A and the U.S.S.R.) had conflicting preferences and acted strategically, as it seems similar today. My accounting is essentially descriptive. But, I think, it gives us a historical comparative instrument in analyzing teh European integration and cooperation processes.
