İletişim Terörü Karşı Strateji Taktiksel Medya Taktiksel İletişim Radikal Demokrasi
The issue of media usage in communication studies is examined by positivist approaches in terms of media use by individuals, and by critical approaches in terms of the use of media by dominant groups. The strategy and tactics of the information war, which progresses through cultural elements in the network environment, where the state, ordinary people, terrorist organizations and media practices took place in the 1990s, point out that a critical perspective should be brought to critical media models as well. The number of studies critically dealing with the use of new communication environment of alternative, radical and tactical media practices, which are a result of the cultural studies paradigm that started to rise in the 1970s, is scarcely any. These media practices that digitalized like many social structures in the 1990s and instrumentalize culture for radical political change are an extension of the new left movements of the 1970s. The agreement of the new left theorist and terrorist groups on the idea of destroying the existing hierarchical order in the political context indicates that they can share a similar strategy in terms of media practices. Strategy is the art of skillful use of tactics. In the study, which comparatively examines the tactical use of media practices of the new left and the communication tactics of terrorist propaganda, the strategy of using media with terrorist purposes will be defined and the strategy model of it will be schematized.
