Information Note for Reviewers
In accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors of Istanbul Gelisim University dated 03.12.2025 and numbered 2025/14-04, a reviewer compensation policy has been introduced in our journals in order to encourage and support the peer-review process.
Reviewers who complete their evaluations within 15 days will be paid a reviewer honorarium of 750 TL starting from 2026. Payment will be made only to reviewers who have a bank account in the Republic of Türkiye.
Providing compensation to expert reviewers aims to encourage the timely and objective completion of peer-review reports, to ensure that reports are prepared with greater care, and to improve the overall quality of the publication process.
The reviewer fee will be paid regardless of whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected following the evaluation.
The reviewer fee is paid only once per manuscript; no additional payment will be made for revision evaluations.
Payment to reviewers does not imply that the manuscript will be accepted for publication. The reviewer compensation is provided solely as a token of appreciation for the time and expertise contributed by reviewers and does not influence the editorial decision-making process.
