The Impact of ChatGPT on Job Satisfaction and Business Sustainability: A Field Study

Abstract
Aim: The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of ChatGPT adoption on job satisfaction and business sustainability.
Method: 304 individuals working in the member companies of Southeastern Anatolian Exporters' Associations (GAIB) participated in the quantitative research. The “Sociodemographic Information Form,” “Adoption of ChatGPT,” “Job Satisfaction Scale,” and “Business Sustainability Scale” were used to collect data. The data obtained were evaluated using various statistical analyses in SPSS 25.0 and Smart PLS 4 package programs.
Results: As a result of the research, it was seen that the adoption of ChatGPT in enterprises has a significant and positive effect on job satisfaction and business sustainability.
Conclusion: The findings revealed that the use of AI-supported chatbots such as ChatGPT can be beneficial for achieving job satisfaction in businesses and can improve sustainability.

ChatGPT’nin İş Tatmini ve İşletme Sürdürülebilirliği Üzerine Etkisi: Bir Alan Araştırması

Abstract
Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, işletmelerde ChatGPT’nin kullanımının benimsenmesinin iş tatmini ve işletme sürdürülebilirliği üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir.
Yöntem: Nicel araştırma tekniğine başvurulan araştırmada, Güneydoğu Anadolu İhracatçı Birlikleri (GAİB)’ne üye işletmelerde çalışan toplam 304 birey katılmıştır. Veri toplamak amacıyla “Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu,” “ChatGPT’nin Benimsenmesi Ölçeği,” “İş Tatmini Ölçeği” ve “İşletme Sürdürülebilirliği Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 25.0 ve Smart PLS 4 paket programlarında çeşitli ististiksel analizler kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda, işletmelerde ChatGPT’nin benimsenmesinin iş tatmini ve işletme sürdürülebilirliği üzerinde anlamlı ve olumlu bir etkiye sahip olduğu görülmüştür.
Sonuçlar: Elde edilen bulgular, işletmelerde iş tatmini elde etmek için ChatGPT gibi yapay zekâ destekli sohbet robotlarının kullanılmasının faydalı olabileceğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Ayrıca, ChatGPT gibi yapay zekâ destekli sohbet robotu kullanımının işletmelerde sürdürülebilirliği iyileştirebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
