The Evaluation On Some of Kemal Pasha-Zâde’s Views In Risâle Fî’ş-Şahsi’l-Insânî

Abstract

After providing the brief information on the life of Kemal Pasha-zâde (the son of Kemal Pasha) (d. 940/1534), one of the Shaikh al-Islams in the Ottoman Empire, and his pieces, this article will evaluate the some of Kemal Pasha-zâde’s views in one of his books, Risâle fî’ş-şahsı’l-insânî, written about the human structure and personality, in terms of Kalam, the Science of Interpretation (Tafsîr), Hadith, Sufism, Fiqh (Islamic Law) and Islamic Jurisprudence.

Abstract

Bu makalede Osmanlı şeyhülislamlarından Kemalpaşazâde’nin (İbn Kemal Paşa) (ö. 940/1534) hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısa bazı bilgiler verildikten sonra, onun insanın yapısı ve şahsiyeti hakkında yazmış olduğu Risâle fî’ş-şahsı’l-insânî adlı eserindeki bazı görüşleri Kelam, Tefsir, Hadis, Tasavvuf, Fıkıh ve Fıkıh Usulü ilimleri açısından değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
